I just read an article on Mike Munchak and he talks about many different thing.First he pretty much guaranteed we would win the final two games. He then goes on to talk about how he thinks winning those final two games could be one of the deciding factors in whether or not ownership brings him back.

Is it just me or is Munchak delusional? Please tell me the brass here would bring Munchak back simply based on him beating two of the worst teams in the NFL back to back.

Fans are showing their displeasure in increasing numbers. Although the game was a sellout, LP Field was filled with empty seats at kickoff Sunday, and by overtime less than 10,000 fans remained. Also the Titans lost their fifth straight and eight of their last ten games.

Munchak is awful and has gotten worse each year he coached. He hasn't won a division game all year.He is 4-12 against the division since arriving. He guaranteed the fans would not be disappointed this season.Well.....

Anyway back to my original rant.Munchak is harping to the media that he thinks his chances are greatly improved if he wins these last two.In my opinion i don't think it matters at this point.I just hope they fire him once the season ends.

Its time to end the Oiler connections too if we do look for a new head coach.

I'd be perfectly happy with Lovie Smith or any hot coordinator out there right now.

Remember when the staff was put on notice after the bears game? Well beating the jags helped then. Soooo

I'm actually starting to get a little worried that they might seriously think about bringing him back if he wins these last two games.

Funny how munch guarantees wins against the lowly jags n Texans (both of whom we lost to). How could 2 meaningless games improve his case for staying after three years of disappointment. Hopefully our fat slob owner does the right thing for this team and makes a move here. We have alot of talent and if we can manage to get a good qb that can sling the rock to these young talented receivers we got we have the pieces to make a playoff run next year.

You shouldn't be worried, you should accept the fact that he IS gonna be back next year. I don't think it's the right move but it is what it is. Munchak will NOT be fired.

Well, I have already decided to NOT purchase my PSL's. I suspect there are thousands of fans like me...they had better get used to the empty seat look at the stadium.

Munch is gone. Don't worry about it. Management just doesn't want to dog him out as he finishes this season, nothing good to come from that other than settling some fans nerves.

My biggest thing is this, Jim Wyatt seems to never be wrong about any news on the Titans, and he thinks he's gone.

No question Munch is gone...It is beyond the record, being a nice guy, and or ties at this point. It simply comes down to filling seats and making the fans supportive in some way, shape, or form. They cannot afford to bring him back simply due to business. They are just doing what they see as the ethical and polite thing to do, and that is keeping him until the end of the regular season.
