I find it amusing how bitter Floyd Reese comes off whenever he talks about the Titans

    read a bit more complementary.

    right. it's all true. it's just the other three are upward spun with positive words. Half his blurb pertains to the offense yet it is under the heading defense. It's vague. I just see a contrast in his skewed *** point of view. It's quite apparent looking at the column as a whole.

    Truth isn't a virtue, just part of developing one... For us it would be a proven secondary and a star QB. Also, a proven RB to give us a swing in the passing game.

    I just don't see it bipolar. The point of his blurb is that the defense is going to feel the heat since the offense did nothing this offseason to help itself. The defense is going to be taxed this year even more than last year to keep games close so Vince can try to work his magic, but this time with far fewer weapons at his disposal.

    I dont see anything bitter. While he was here, he had a homeristic approach. Now that he's not, he can speak his mind.

    Of course, it would seem he thinks Schwartz sucks.

    ok. just compare it to this.
    it's just the contrast. the Titans summary is slanted negatively. Why isn't the qb feeling the heat? He just goes on about Jones. Maybe I'm reading into it too much but the paragraph pertaining to the Titans has a negative slant, which is understandable coming from Reese. Reese got shafted. At least he feels that way. It looks that way anyhow. I don't expect fair and balanced reporting from Reese when it comes to the Titans. There are too many personal feelings for it not to cloud his impartiality. Ever notice Michael Irwin always picks the Cowboys?
