That makes no sense at all. Move your fastest linebacker to the strong side?

And it would be retarded for any 4-3 team to draft this guy that high just to move him to the outside. You draft him to play in the middle of your defense.

The Panthers started Kueckly on the weak side until Beason got hurt but he was drafted to play the middle.

Thats cause our DC eats paint chips. McCourty and Verner can ball.

I don't have an issue with McCourty and Verner, but 2 CBs is nowhere near enough in today's NFL. Every time Ryan Mouton sees the field, we are introuble, and Sensabaugh hasn't shown enough to be a true #3CB yet.

Sensabaugh has taken Mouton's job, Mouton is history in my mind. But youre right, you can never have enough CB's

Funny. I was thinking we should draft Teo if we have a shot at him. I didnt anticipate that others were thinking the same. McCarthy is a great player but he's rarely on the field. On the other hand Teo has been consistently great and is apparently durable. I think he will be the most value if he is there when we draft. I dont know any other stars on the Championship bound Fighting Irish. I'm certain hes a huge part of it.

Te'o is still on the board when we pick, which I highly doubt, then we must take him. I would also be happy with Joeckel, Werner, Warmack or Lotulelei. At least one of them should be around at where we pick. That is unless we win both our last two games and drop down in the draft order.

We're going to be picking around 10...Teo and J Jones will be gone...If we get lucky enough to get pick 8 we might be able to get one of them, but I doubt it. I'm definitely not opposed to drafting a CB. I actually wanted Kirkpatrick last year(and apparently the Titans did too). Milliner is supposedley better than Kirkpatrick, so I wouldn't be surprised if we went this direction.

I still think it'd be nice if we traded back for a 1st and 2nd, and went with the best O-lineman(Warmack/B Jones??), best safety(Matt Elam??), and then BPA(Xavier Rhodes, Ezekial Ansah, Larry Warford??)

    Having a late 1st, early 2nd, late 2nd, early 3rd, late 3rd and early 4th would be gold...:chuck:

Best case scenario right there. That means it has a 0% chance of happening.

I think Te'o could slip to us... look at who's ahead of us:

1: KC - They need a QB, Geno is likely
2: JAX - They have Polz and many other needs
3: OAK - They need a DL, someone to get after the QB
4: PHI - Could use a LB, but OL is their #1 need
5: DET - They have Tully, could use Te'o still. CB, DE, OT are other needs
6: SD - OL is needed bad, as well as WR
7: CLE - They have JAckson, could go Teo caz they need a big name guy. DE/CB bigger need.
8: BUF - No need. They need a QB, DT, OT.
    9: TITANS - ____________

I could see Phi, Det, and CLE in play.

It's a waste of time mocking players right now, I usually just identify 4-5 guys I really like and hope one is there for us when we pick.

Bowl games, combine, and pro days will affect the top of the draft enough that we really have no clue right now how it will shape out.

No one last December could have told you RGIII was going No.2 overall

Hopefully Te'o is there for us, but be ready to get another guy.
