    Well, Stroud is rumored to be suspended (per PFT), so they may be more desperate than originally thought.

    Jags have had some serious player losses so far this season.

    Bingo...Saying on ESPN.com now that Stroud's suspension could start as early as this weekend. This makes Jackson more valuable to the Jags, so no doubt they were willing to toss more money at him. Kind of a good news/bad news deal for us...

    I thought it sounded strange when I first read about it this morning. I can't remember the name of the reporter, but he quoted the agent of Jackson as saying that something seemed fishy then.

    Makes sense. Jackson isn't that good. He's a good player, not a probowler. But he's a good fill in for Stroud. Wish we had him instead. It would have given us some depth, and weakened Jax by keeping him away.
