Jared Cook & Chris Johnson as WR's....

    I'm not making up a nice little story to go along with this thread. We all know we've lost 2 consecutive games, and we're now 3-3. I'm keeping it simple, and straight to the point.

    Jared Cook our TE, yea well guess what, he SUCKS as a blocker and has no business being a TE in this league. He only comes in on passing situations, and when he's out there he's basically holding a sign with the play on it for the D to read.

    Chris Johnson our RB also has his share of problems this year. But because I despise Eugen Amano as a human-being, I'll blame him and his parents for the lack of a running game this year.

    My suggestion: move them both to WR!

    I'm yet to see Chris Johnson line up outside as a WR and NOT get the ball, clearly he can handle the job over there by the numbers. So put him out there.

    IDK why poor Jamie Harper has to rote away watching us lose, play the kid, he's pretty good! Let him and Ringer share the workload, and maybe we get a running game going. A new found way to run the ball will open up tons of options for us.

    If johnson was more of a playmaker at positions other than running back... he would have had a legit complaint about not being paid this past year.

    I agree with this. He proved his value more as a WR yesterday than as a RB.
    But the question is, do you want to let a player whose specialty is catching the ball sit on the bench while a RB is in at WR?

    Interesting idea. I'd also make sure our HOF Oline coaches have spent some time making sure Cook knows how to block before we give up on him blocking.

    Good idea, I just don't see it being enough to fix the bigger problem which is the crappy run blocking. Amano has no business starting on this team. He needs to be replaced and I can almost assure you that the line play gets better.

    That's why he is still playing. That would be admitting a huge mistake by Munchak and MR.
