Not that long. Not like this. We were just a little slow getting him signed.

 

Chargers announce that they have nearly reached an agreement with Bosa that would have Bosa playing Saturday night's preseason opener with the starters.

According to the language in the contract, If Bosa records a sack in the 1st Quarter against the Titans, then Chargers will agree to give him the entirety of his signing bonus in 1 payment.

If he fails to record a sack in the 1st Quarter, then Bosa will agree to take the bonus in 2 payments.

However, the only sticking point is that the chargers FO want to include a clause that nullifies the agreement if the sack is against chance Warmack.

The Bosa camp believes that a sack against any starting NFL lineman should count, even if that lineman is undeserving of an NFL roster spot.

Bosa and his agent have sent a counter offer that the team has ignored.


For once, Im on the players side here.

 

Perhaps the team is in the wrong here, but if it were me I'd be too Eager to get the money and probably just sign.

If I have to wait for the rest, oh well. Not like I was gonna spend it all before seasons end anyway
