I like how he has high hopes. Means he's hungry about getting 2k again
lol @ this guy saying CJ1yd. Care to explain that GOFIGURETITANS?
who the **** cares about CJ. god damn, he is an average runningback these days. ****ing get over it.
CJ looks the best he has since '09, IMO.
Who put a crab apple in your falafel?
it just gets so pathetic hearing people talk about how great CJ is when his stat line has been average or less than average for three years now.
FWIW I haven't seen very much to complain about with CJ this season. But still, you're right. It's silly how some people keep acting like he's CJ2K. Or even capable of being CJ2K. He's now just "a good RB". And that's okay.
We don't have to keep acting like he's going to be an all-time great. We all hoped that was the case after the 2K season. But it didn't happen. He's a flash in the pan back who has peaked.
(And before anyone gets too butt-hurt, that's not to say he isn't still a quality back. And we could certainly do a lot worse.)
We just need to get the passing game going man and this Sunday is a good time to start against an atrocious pass D
agreed. he's actually been aggressive and fought for yards. it's not his fault turner is amanoing next to a rookie.
Well, I'm not one for these kinds of predictions but you'd have to agree with CJ on this. Against 2 of the top defenses he's avg'ing 83 yards per game which would translate into over 1300 yards of production. To me, that is better then avg and we'd expect those numbers to get BETTER!
On the flip side, I don't expect him to maintain this # of carries as he'd have 400 and that's way too much for anyone let alone a small back.
So I'd expect him to get fewer carries going forward but I'd also expect him to break some longer runs and get even more yardage with fewer handles.
I think he should be aiming for 1500 yards!
