Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt missed practice on Wednesday with what coach Mike Munchak called overall soreness from a head-first fall during last Sunday’s game against the Chargers.

Britt is listed on the injury report as “neck/ribs.”

In the locker room after practice, Britt said he has a slight rib fracture but hoped to practice on Thursday and expected to play this Sunday against the Jets.

“I could say Monday and Tuesday were my worst days. But I am feeling a lot better,” said Britt, who has five catches for 43 yards. “I plan on playing through it. I plan on being at practice tomorrow actually.”

His PRIDE is fractured. His relationship with the coaches and fans is fractured, but I bet my Titan message board money that his ribs ARE NOT FRACTURED!!!

Wow, you guys aren't even going to let him break his ribs in peace.

It's not like he nearly broke his neck or anything....

Props to KB for pushing through this. If he really didn't care this would be an easy excuse to completely shut it down.

I can see why you'd think that but I disagree. I'm sure he's very embarrassed that he is playing like absolute dog crap. Not only is he letting his team down but he is putting out god awful tape for the rest of the league.

It's possible that he doesn't have a lot of love for the organization but this year's receiving corps seems to be a very tight knight group that demands a lot of each other. I can almost guarantee he doesn't want to continue letting him down. That being said I hope this injury results in more reps for my boy Hunter.
