    Annnnnnnd go.

Free agent WR Kevin Walter is visiting the Titans on Tuesday.
As is Brandon Stokley. It's the first we've heard of Walter since he was cut loose by the Texans on the first day of free agency. The Titans have a crowded receiver corps, but would be short on veteran experience if Nate Washington is traded or released, as expected. Walter is durable and sure-handed, but offers little as a play-maker. He'd be a downgrade from Washington.

If Walter takes a vet min deal, i'd take him over Preston, Mariani, and Hawkins.

We've added/resigned/brought in at every position but CB (and OT). We can't seriously be content with Coty & TC as our CB depth.

Let's just draft a WR in the 2nd or 3rd round and call it a day with the WR.

No room for 25+ catch type guys.

Looking for a smart slot guy who can be a safety blanket for Locker and pick up 3rd downs?

I say, take a WR in the 3rd... PLENTY of receivers available, somebody will fall.
Sign Walter to a cheap deal.
Let Preston, Mariani, and Hawkins (and his remaning 5.6m) go.

    Britt - Washington - Wright - 3rd - Walter

    That's some darn good depth.
