Fisher signs off 100% on the defensive scheme which means he believes in it. Maybe it isn't the ideal scheme but it is based on the abilities of his players. Therefore, I think he believes that upgrading a few players will allow the scheme to work better or give him the option of doing more things with it.

Sounds reasonable...But, how many more years will it take to finish upgrading our players on defense?

Time to throw away the draft, and start from scratch.

    Upgrading players..

There is no way in hell this is the least talented defense in the NFL, no way! We had the talent to be an average defense it just takes good coaching and a little guts. If finnigan was better than hill he should have been out there. Maybe fuller should have been playing ahead of thompson. In any event we have only question marks at these positions. we used a 4th rd pick on a safety 2 years in a row but still had thompson out there. System failure?

    Titans personel..

Quick name 3 starters on the browns defense. You can't? They finished 15th and 17th in total defense the last 2 seasons. Not one brown made the pro bowl this year or last and that defense sure in the hell doesn't get any help from that offense.. Why are they so much better than our defense? Because they are coached better. They sure don't have any more talent..

That's one question I would dearly love answered. Who decides the players that start....Fisher or Swartz?

Sometimes I think Fisher is much like a child that needs to get rid of the toys that don't work any longer. Bud Adams might just have to play 'Mommy' once again and get rid of the garbage for him.
Jeff is great at managing players, but he wouldn't know talent if it smacked him in the face.

Wrong on Coyer, but good points with the Mike Reed. Interesting, if some time takes Jimmy of our hands

i'd take any of the 3. Coyer is proven just one bad year. And the other 2 got the tutledge of one of the best DC's in the league and would most likely be aggressive like the guy they learned form and would bring some fire being younger guys.

    Bottom line.....Anybody but Schwartz.
