these kinds of things are cool.. smart

i think a while back i read about something similar involving having letters mailed years after they were written.. it's eluding me though.. either way these things are clever

 

When I was in 7th grade my english teacher had us all write letters to our adult selves. She then mailed them out like 10 years later. Of course I had forgotten all about it shortly after writing it. So it was a very cool and surreal experience receiving the letter out of the blue and reading it. It kinda felt slightly like hopping in a time machine. I still have the letter somewhere.

Lol I really have no idea where it is. It is somewhere in one of several huge bins containing various things from my childhood in my basement. I do remember I told my future self I hoped I'd become a professional wrestler. Lol I bet the poor kid would be so disappointed in me.

 

Impressive that 10 years later you were still at home with mum and dad

I wasn't. Moved out a month after high school graduation and never looked back.

 

I 'orbited' home a couple of wasted years going to college until I joined the USAF
