Leroy Harris headed to Injured Reserve

The Titans plan to place guard Leroy Harris on Injured Reserve, which will end his 2012 season.

Harris suffered a partially torn ACL in the team’s October 28 loss to the Colts. He got a second opinion from doctors on Tuesday, and they confirmed the news.

Harris is expected to undergo surgery at some point.

A six-year veteran, Harris is in the final year of his contract. He’s played in 75 games over the past six seasons, including 42 starts. Harris started the first eight games of this season.

Deuce Lutui started in place of Harris in Sunday’s game against the Bears. The Titans re-signed guard Kyle DeVan on Tuesday.
