If he can though he should have a great season. He did remarkably well last year despite the absence of a run game.

Locker is going to make for a great backup in the NFL. His attitude and everything will help him with that. However I highly doubt seeing him being a viable upper tier starter in this league.

I said well when you consider he had no run game to take the heat off. He also had terrible protection and one starting WR that was useless.

Britt didn't get that much PT when Locker was QB. Also if you are using the line as an excuse for locker than you should use it as an excuse for CJ as well.

Run blocking was decent, pass blocking was terrible. And Britt got way too much playing time.

I understand that people like Locker. I like Locker. But he IS brittle. He IS inaccurate. He is now LESS mobile.

I hate to break it to the Locker Fockers but we WILL be drafting his replacement in May. Whether or not that pick becomes our starter depends on what Locker does in camp. Whiz isn't hitching his wagon to Locker. That much is clear from his less than enthusiastic endorsements.

Oh I know that. Even said that in the OP. But that next person is not guarantee. Typically only 1-3 QBs that come out of a single draft become a long term stable starter in the NFL. About a third of first round QBs will flop. The odds get worse as the draft goes on. I just hope we are one of the 1-3 lucky teams that gets a good one this year.

CJ Spiller had almost identical stats from 2012 and guess what? He had 1 more rushing yard than CJ and 70 carries less than CJ.

Yeah you got it backwards. Our run blocking was way worse than pass blocking! lmao you'll try anything.
