By far. I'm almost positive #1 is what's going on here. I just don't see how you can't know which way you're going to go at this point. All of the data/facts are out there, and most of them have been out there for awhile now. So just make a damn decision. I just don't get what other piece of information you could be waiting for at this point. Is it that you want to hear Munch's plea/case? Well then have the freaking meeting already.

Well he is a brand new owner and was thrust into the position. I guess we should not be shocked he ks taking a bit of time. I will take a thoughtful owner over a Dan Snyder any day.

Thoughtful I can appreciate. But he's had plenty of time for contemplation. We've been out of the playoff picture for weeks now and we beat 2 of the 3 worst teams in the league in the final weeks. If those wins were cause for very much additional deliberation then I'm really worried.

In this whole situation the only thing I'm positive of is that Tommy's decision has already been made and this meeting is a formality. If TS was leaning hard towards firing Munch what could Munch possibly say during his meeting that TS doesn't already know and has considered? Everyone who follows this team knows the talent underachieved and we played with a back up for 3/4 of our season. If he was leaning towards keeping Munch there wouldn't be much to discuss except for possible staff changes and giving Munch a stern "you got one more shot" speech.

To his credit, he's always said that they would meet the first week of January. This was before the Cardinals game.

I don't know that this way of doing things is the best way, especially considering that almost every other team in the league makes a decision by black monday; but I don't think the delay is the result of wins over the Jags and Texans.

I've been saying this as well. I would say that will be a done deal. Manzeil is going to soar up draft boards the closer we get to May

I fully expect it is this. There's no reason to delay even meeting Munch unless you were planning on keeping him OR you're confident in who your replacement will be (meaning it's either Gregg Williams or a coordinator in the playoffs)
