So yeah I'm going crazy this year in my bracket. I just have a feeling it's going to be extra crazy this time around. I do have UK winning it all though...
Nice... and I did decide on UK winning. I don't see a tough enough matchup for them. My Final 4 is: UK, Marquette, Florida St, Kansas.
I'm doing some last minute changing, right now my final 4 is Kentucky, Missouri, Kansas, and Vanderbilt. I know Vandy has sucked in the tournament the past couple years but I think they turn it around this year. I'm stuck on the Long Beach/New Mexico game, I think the winner of that game will be Louisville. I also have KSU over Syracuse and Montana over Wisconsin.
I'm not sure why everyone is talking up FSU. They're great defensively and really long, but they have loooooooong stretches where they can't buy a bucket and struggle with turnovers. Not enough scoring on that team unless they go crazy from behind the arc, which they definitely do one game every now and then, but not enough to get to the Final Four. I'm interested to see how they respond after winning the ACC title for the first time. I have FSU losing to OSU in the Sweet 16. UNC winning it all against Duke.
Yeah I mean I can understand why people would love FSU but I'm not one of those people. There offense can be horrible at times and even though they have a good defense, good offenses still find a way to beat you. I have Ohio St beating them. Also thinking Davidson over Louisville.
Lol I know who he is... That's why I initially said they wouldn't win. I just don't see enough competition for them. I have them facing Duke and Marquette on the way to the championship. Duke is not that good IMO. Marquette would be the one to knock them off in my eyes, but I'm sticking with UK.
Duke will go zone and beat them. Any good coached team will beat a Calipari team down the stretch. Vandy didn't switch to zone til they were down- and it exposed them. Teams will start with zone now. Plus, they have no experience. You can't win with these high school kids. He's had the most talented team in the NCAA for about the past 6 years and hasn't won anything yet.
