Marcus Lattimore contemplating retirement

    Steve Spurrier ran that guy in to the ground. He's not responsible for the injuries Lattimore sustained, but he would have given the guy the ball 500 times a season if he could have.

    It's a real shame but he's lucky he can still walk on it after everything he's been through.

    A lot of guys enter the NFL early just for the rehab, Im curious what the actual payout to Lattimore is considering he sat out all of last year.

    Not true at all. Lattimore had the same work load as Abdullah, Melvin Gordon, and a bunch of others in college at the moment.

    how is it not true at all?

    The only reason Lattimore has similar attempts at all is because of his injuries.

    In his sophomore season he was on pace for over 300 carries before his injury. 371 carries in a college season to be exact. The pace he was on would have been the 15th most carries in college football history in a single season.

    The year after sustaining a serious knee injury he was on pace for over 200 carries.

    Spurrier needs to put that guy on his staff in some capacity. He owes it to him.
