If he's available we should go hard for him. But I doubt he'll be available and even if he is our past history in FA suggests we won't pull the trigger on a big move like this....

 

He is exactly what the Titans need most, but I just don't see it happening.

 

They'll let him walk because they've seen first-hand just how overrated he is.

I'd take him because he's better than anyone we have on the line. But I definitely wouldn't want us to pay him big money. Not worth it.

This would be a dream come true. Add Mario, resign Finny, draft Konz 1st round, move Amano to G (draft a guard 3rd round also), draft a S in the 2nd.

I would be beside myself if we could grab Mario Williams in free agency. It would be better than the day we got Randy Moss, cause Mario is still great, Moss not so much.


This thread conflicts with everything the Texans said earlier this month. That team lies to the media more than any team, not sure what to believe.

 

26 sacks in 2 years.. while being the ONLY pass-rush they had. How is he overrated?

 

well it could happen if Mario really wants to stick it to the Texans....but money talks and our money doesnt speak so...

 

i would throw him a big contract in a heartbeat....then we could shore up other needs in the draft included the first round such as dt, oln, ol, cb(if finny walks)

C'mon dude.

In the past 2 years he's had 13.5 sacks total. The past 3 years he's up to 22.5. Basically he's averaged about 7 sacks a season for 3 years... Forgive me if I'm not impressed considering he was the #1 OVERALL pick in his draft class?

Actually, taking that in to consideration- I'd say he's teetering close to the "bust" mark.
