Where do I sign?
I'm ready for a whole new team.
Replace Munchak, Mathews, Palmer, and Gray with upgrades, and this team can be competitive right now imo. Obviously, we have a few players who are njust plain awful that need replaced too, but we aren't as bad as our horrific coaches have us playing right now.
I am Enigma and I support this post.
LOL A bit premature to start with the excuses for CJ on his next team, no?
Florio is an idiot. But I hope he's right.
This team doesn't make moves like that. Let's be real.
Does everyone agree that he should reconstruct his contract? That should open up cap room and for god's sake I hope Bud finally opens the bank up to get a handful of FA prospects.
I like how the Patriots FO constantly get a ton of FA wrs in the off season and let them all fight for a spot and cut the ones that can't hang. I guess the only problem with that is we have to have people who actually want to come to nashville.
Why would he reconstruct his contract? Why would he want to stay here? Why would any RB want to play here? I'll promise you CJ is praying that the Titans will trade him! Why does Chris Palmer still have a job? Why?
The Titans have CAP space even with CJ's contract now so CAP space or CJ's contract wasn't the reason for not bringing in more FAs.
As far as trading him that isn't a bad idea at all. A team like the Cardinals who really think they have a shot might make sense for them if they actually think he can help them. Keep in mind they are only on the hook for his remaining 2012 salary. They can cut him after this year if they want to with no CAP implications.
Obviously we wouldn't get much but anything is better than nothing which is what we are getting now.
Heck ask for their 6th round pick and then use that pick to draft a RB who is better anyway.
Aaannnd we've nearly reached the point where you guys have convinced yourselves that a CJ trade might actually be possible.
