Mississippi State Bullies!

    Forgive me for posting this but I'm a Mississippi State fan, Laserjock and I were married on the campus of MSU and he has a graduate degree from there. I lived in Stark Vegas (Starkville) for a few years and there's not much else there that doesn't involve something about the University. I'm just a tad giddy over what they have done so far this year. Beating LSU (at LSU) is looking like not that big of a deal in that LSU is proving to NOT be that good. Beating Texas A&M is also not looking as good as before the game was played in that Ole Miss just spanked them yesterday. But beating Auburn yesterday was HUGE! That is a great football team and for our inexperienced big game play, our MSU Bulldogs came out and scratched the number 2 team in the Nation off the list!

    Way to go MSU! This is uncharted territory for the team from Starkville and I'm going to enjoy every minute!

    I go for State at times because one of my good friends played for them...

    He didn't see this coming at all. He thought A&M would kill them.

    I was fortunate enough to be in grad school there during the years that Clark, Palmeiro, Brantley and Thigpen were playing baseball. Watched Bo Jackson hit a foul ball that seriously may still be coming back to earth.

    We never had much to celebrate in football since Sherril took them into the top 10 for a brief period. This is hard for me to wrap my brain around. My Father is a life long Ole Miss fan so right now is a great time for the state of MS.

    I plan to just enjoy it while it lasts because there is a lot of football left this year.
