This is the NFL... every one of those teams could suck this year.
You guys are assuming we would go outside the organization.
Bud is old. He is set in his ways, and does business how he wants to. Dont assume that they will go outside of the organization just because you want them to.
I think Bud would promote Williams before going out and getting who most of you would want
Id much rather this offense click and the defense actually have promise, not potential, promise as in results. If we look like we have a foundation, and are competitive, then we reassess things at the end of the season. Playoffs would be even better.
Be careful wishing for things to be blown up, that happened two years ago and many already want everything blown up again
One things for sure, I'm damn tired of getting beat every Sunday. I wanna see some azz whoopin.
I wanna see double azz whoopins!
I want a new head coach whether we make the playoffs or not.
There is no way we would make an inside hire again, not from this staff, no chance. If Munch fails this year, and they hire from within again, the Jaguars would see better attendance than this team.
They really didn't even try to find the best coach possible when they hired Munch, Bud handed him the job. Doing that again (not even trying) would be disastrous for this franchise. It will not happen, not even from Bud Adams.
not every sunday.
just the vast majority
IT doesn't matter what you want!!!!!!!!
This is the NFL, all teams are contenders before the start of the season. The bar has been set. You don't spend $100 million in Free Agency to go 8-8. It's definitnely playoffs or bust, considering the recent history and off season moves.
This is pro football, not high school. No time to lose. Losing games loses fans, and losing fans loses money. No pro team is viable as perennial losers (except for perhaps in baseball, i.e. the Cubs). You can't keep losing year after year and expect to be able to survive, espscially in a small market like Nashville. If they don't make the playoffs this year, what has Munchak done to warrant another year of the same? Locker? Gray?
