New DC for 2018

    At this point I think it is highly unlikely Mularkey is fired at the end of the year. Especially with going 9-7 in his first year. The team would have to really crap the bed for Mularkey not to be brought back in 2018.

    A new DC though is far more likely, given the age of our current DC.

    Dream Scenario

    Todd Bowles -- HC Jets: On the hot seat before the season but so far he has been doing better than expected. If he keeps winning the Jets are unlikely to let him go and if he were let go there is a good chance he gets another HC position.

    Other Potential HC Firings

    Marv Lewis -- HC Bengals: Before becoming the Bengals HC Marv was considered by most to be the top defensive coordinator in the NFL.

    Chuck Pagano -- HC Colts: Another former successful Ravens DC. Defensive backs are his specialty which is our biggest problem.

    Potential Diamonds in the Rough

    Winston Moss -- LB Coach Packers: He is also the assistant HC in Green Bay. He has spent a lot of years learning from Dom Capers.

    Adam Zimmer -- LB Coach Vikings: Young and has been successful wherever he has been. Has experience with both 4-3 and 3-4. Son of Viking HC.

    Nick Rapone -- DB Coach Cardinals: Has done an excellent job in AZ after many years as an assistant and coordinator at the college level.

    I've always wondered why it seems the Titans are the only team that plays so damn soft coverage even through having like 10 different DC's it's always been the same thing!
