Makes me wonder if one or both teams comes out a little flat tomorrow night

what could be tough is if the game goes to OT on Sat night then have to play again on Monday in Boston. Luckily it is a short flight

Yeah. I remember the year Tampa and Edmonton played in the Stanley Cup Final. 7 hour flight. No direct commercial flights between the two. The NHL had to charter a plane for the media covering the games.

Edmonton still doesn't have a lot of direct flights unless you are just flying in Canada.
I have flown into Edmonton before in the winter time. Not a great flight in esp if it is snowing like crazy.

No, Calgary is the main hub out there.

I didn't have to stop in Calgary. Flew from Nashville to Minneapolis to Edmonton then on to my final destination in the Northwest Territories. First time I ever experienced -40°F temps and it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be

Yeah, not too bad because it is so dry up there. You do not get that stick-to-your-bones wet cold like in most places.
