I didn't do FF, but I told a few guys to take a flyer on Nate because I knew that Hass/Palmer would pass more and because of Britt's injury history. I don't think any of them drafted him, but a couple picked him up after week 1 and he helped them win some games.

    Agreed!

Kudos to Nate for a wonderful season. Probably the best Titan this year. What a warrior!

Nate quickly became my favorite player on the team the last month of this season. Even if he hadn't had the great numbers he did, the amount of toughness he showed on the field was enough to impress me. Nate performed at the highest level while battling injuries for over a month. There's nothing I appreciate more than toughness.

I don't think anybody ever hated Nate Washington. I think they hated him for his contract, being our #1 receiver, and his tendency to drop a lot of passes.

At the time, his contract seemed way too much, but I think he's worth it now.

Also a big part of why I always defended him was the fact that our top receivers before he signed were Justin Gage, Justin McCareins, and Brandon Jones. Terrible. He was an instant upgrade.

I was excited when we got him, he was always one of my favorite WR's but hated the contract and he never put a full season together. However, very impressed with him this season and easily one of my favorite players now.

    This, this, this... THIS!

I swear... if Britt is unable to play - for at least HALF the season - it will be official that the Football Gods don't like the Titans.

    That is all. :D

But, I agree... I've never liked or disliked Washington. I've usually been pretty indifferent toward him.

I mean, he's typically been our Number 2... this season, I'm a fan.

    Great season Nate!

The only thing I queried about Washington was his inconsistancy. This year his courage and his heart are undoubtable and he's filled some of that void that Kenny left.

I'd like to see Ken come back to health and for us to pick up Al Toon's son in the second round of the draft. That would give us Ken , Nate , Nick Toon and Jared Cook to give Locker something to aim at next year.
