Pacman says he's done enough

Sheez....he really doesn't get it, does he??

 

I'm afraid Pac is about 10 years shy of even having a clue... By then he won't be able to afford it.

 

I really don't care that much if he comes back or not, but what's he going to say? I haven't done enough? Don't let me back early? This is like the 4th leading story on ESPN and it has no substance whatsoever.

Reporter: Do you think you've done enough to be back by week 11?
Paman: Yes, I think I've done enough.

Reporter packs it in and calls it a day.

 

This is the part that gets me

"I did pretty much everything Mr. Goodell asked me to do."

 

I don't know, I could be completely wrong, but I would imagine the question went something like:

Reporter: Do you think you've done what the league asked you to do? [knowing full well what the answer is going to be, but asking it because it could be turned into a story]

Pacman: Yes, I did pretty much everything Mr. Goodell asked me to do.

And everybody gets to act indignant. The whole gotcha beat writer thing just gets annoying after a while (like last year with TO, just on and on and on--everybody's outraged, people write articles, talk shows talk about it). I would just prefer they wait until the guys actually screw up--there's no need to invent stuff in between.

 

Who cares about Pacman today?

 

I don't see what's wrong at all with what he said.
