If ESPN brainwashed me, I would think Brett Favre is the best QB ever. And I would probably not like the Titans or Vince Young, for that matter.

As a fan of an AFC South rival team, I have no problem saying that Peyton is the best. He's more consistent than anyone on a day in day out basis. He sometimes does get a little bit too much exposure but who else should get it? He's a great QB in a QB driven league.

That said, it is because he is the best and not on the team I root for.

 

I'm no longer sure how often I need to take a thread seriously. It's definitely getting lower by the day.

So, who's better then? I hate the rings argument, or the playoff record argument, because face it, football is a team sport. Your record is indicative of your team, not one player. Tom Brady's rings came because he had a defensive genius as his head coach. And, the one year his offense carried the team, they lost in the Super Bowl.

 

They probably realise how futile it is to argue a fairly idiotic point.
