Pick #155 of the 2017 NFL Draft: LB Jayon Brown, UCLA

More than likely it was mentioning a fifth round sub package LB as a potential polamalu that got people to explode.

 

I'm ready for Dick Lebeau to retire.

Then we can stop with every new defensive player being compared to or the new Polamalu.

Found it interesting when asked about Jayon Brown, Greg Cosell of NFL Films said "looked incredibly small on film".

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought the same of a guy many people on here touted as the exact same size as Reuben Foster. Is the UCLA team that much bigger than Alabama?

 

Brown 6'0" 231 lbs
Foster 6'0" 229lbs

I understand that, but Brown looks like Adoree out there, nobody has every mentioned "small, tiny" when talking about Foster(except his brain).

 

People hold weight differently. Genetics play a factor. Me and my buddy I lift with are roughly the same size but he looks bigger than me even at the same weight.

 

Probably their frames. Reuben was 240 at one point, so his can clearly hold more weight. Brown's is likely maxed out, so he'd be adding bad weight at this point.
