Not if Deuce Wayne has anything to say about it
That would be my order.
Ansah, Warmack, Rhodes
Ansah, really guys? C'mon he's far too much of a risk at 10. You don't draft pure potential in the top 10, you draft an immediate starter, not one you hope develops into a great player.
1. Jonathan Cooper
2. Dion Jordan
3. Xavier Rhodes (moves up some because I think he could make an awesome safety or corner)
We have 2/3 of our salary cap tied up in the offense ($78M) thats more than every team except the Eagles & Seahawks, but our offense stinks!
We need to get cheaper on offense moving forwards..
I wonder if that will effect what position we take.
Thats a good point. But see JPP for why you DO take that risk.
Actually JPP was a much more polished player coming out of College, and with better stats. Ansah is basically the DE version of Chris Henry. Every one of us freaked out when we took Henry as a project and that was early in the 2nd. How can you be OK with Ansah in the top 10?
31 career games... 4.5 sacks!!!!
Chris Henry here we come again.
Already posted this in the Rob Turner thread but thought it probably belongs here also.
Wyatt just tweeted that Jonathan Cooper and Chance Warmack have already set up predraft visits with the Titans. So much for you guys thinking we go DE in the first. About time we go back to our roots and beef up this Oline. Thank you FO.
If we could trade back, stay in the top 15, and nap Cooper I'd dance a Jig. This team has neglected the O-line far too long, I want a starting RG and Center in this draft. If that happened we could clearly dump Amano and Harris and not break a sweat... two birds with one stone
