Heading into the 2014 season it seems we'll have roughly 10 QB battles ensuing in training camps across the league according to Grant Gunderson. Including our very own Jake Locker. Personally I dont see Mettenberger pushing Locker this summer, but we'll see..

Which QB's identified here do you see winning the starting jobs? Feel free to change your minds as things unfold in the coming weeks.

    Mallet backup unless traded.
    Locker unless hurt.
    Manziel.
    Henne.
Andy Dalton (this is not even close to a controversy what a joke).
    Bridgewater.
    McCown.
    Schaub.
    Fitzpatrick.
    Vick.

So what are the Texans plans at QB?

They don't really plan on playing 16 with Fitztragic under center unless they are planning on being in a position to draft a top guy next year.

I like Henne in Jacksonville til about week-5 when they're winless, then we'll see Bortles come out to face us the next game I bet.

I like Bridgewater to win that job in Minnesota. I think Dalton is safe from McCarron.

Manziel probably wins that job by default, nobody wants to see more of Hoyer.

The interesting battles will be in Houston, and Oakland. IDK who wins those gigs.

The only QB controversy in TN is Locker vs. the future 2015 draft pick ... and that battle has already begun.

Fitztragic can at least win them enough games not to be picking #1 overall again lol

The controversy in Houston is whether their QB will have AJ to throw to or not. His (lack of) presence will have a huge impact on their chances of #1 again, who they'll use at QB is rather irrelevant.

Houston would be so dumb to let Andre leave, aside from Watt thats their only guy they can count on.

Well, so far he's a no show and has (in his own words) no plans of showing up. Understandable, they were almost getting good and now they suck again.

I think he's just fed up with wasting his career away as a Texan
