I like Mac. I just don't like him when he's playing us. Simple as that.
Hate is a strong word.
I lost a bit of respect for him when he chose to leave, the whole debacle was ugly & he wasn't as much a victim as he made out.
I realise he didn't have many suitors either for his services but to go to the Ravens & be as vocal as he has been about his former team & how much happier he is as a Raven doesn't exactly endeer him to Titans fans.
I never cared for McNair. I never felt he gave 100%. He missed too many practices, and let himself get in horrible shape. He never took time to work with receivers, and was basically a hot dog. What ruined it for me was the MNF game with the Jets. He was clearly injured, and needed to rest up and get healthy. Volek was set to start, but at the last minute McNair decided he wanted to play. It was not a divisional game, and we would have been fine with Volek. He went on to throw 3 interceptions and lose the game while limping around. I also have no use for his "dog" symbol he makes when he throws a TD, that has nothing to do with football.
it's just a frat sign. He's just saying hey to his old frat bros.
what's the big deal about that? I think it's cool.
Can you say "contradiction"? I knew you could.
on second thought it would be better if he performed cpr on the football....:grrhee:
or maybe jumped on the goal post and slid down like fireman Bob. :ha:
Can you say "taken out of context?" I knew you could.
Help me then. McNair sucks it up and plays hurt and yet he didn't give 100%?
He was giving, but not 100%, since he was injured. It's only 100% when you're healthy, apparently...
