I hope the Faguars or Texans draft him so they keep losing another 2-3 years.

    The stats don't matter.

Let's take two qb's as examples.

QB a plays at badass state. He throws for 35 scores his senior year. Analysis shows that on most of them, he had shoddy footwork, made a poor read, and relied on pure arm superiority and elite receivers to score.

QB b plays for little sisters of the poor. he only threw for 10 scores. Analysis shows excellent footwork, good, mechanics, and accurate throws. Unfortunately for him, his receivers were blanket covered and have stone hands.

    Which one you wanna draft?

C'mon let's not act totally braindead. Of course stats matter. They don't tell all the story, they tell part of a story in football and then you have to look deeper to see how those stats were created.

This is what people claim to do but don't. Watch the games tbats the best way go get a read on a player. You have to take everything into account, teamates,, coaches and opponents. This is why I don't understand the manziel hate, he makes a&m a competitor. He does have good teamates but he also plays against the best competition in college football. He can throw the ball good and has an amazing skill set. half the sec had better teams than him and had less.success. Mccarron was on an amazing team, murry was on a better team and as qbs manziel looked better. Not saying these guys were bad ( I think they'll both flop in the nfl). If he's there and we don't take him we will be regretting it for many many years, especially if that choice is followed by the choice to keep locker as.the starter.
