That's the thing. This game does very little to shift draft position. It's just another game to add to the film reel. I wouldn't put too much stock into final draft position just based off 1 game where they aren't even playing the whole thing.

Well of course. But it's also nice to see how they play on more of a leveled playing field. Talent that sticks out in those situations are hard to deny.

Rambo might be the best value at safety in this draft. A real ball hawk!

Warfard should be a top 20 pick based on his play and practice.

Short really helped himself to be a 1st rd pick at DT and will not be there for us at 39. Floyd the Florida DT might be a similar prospect to look at for 39 if we want that type of player.

Sly Williams did not play bad at all but was out shined by Short.

I raved over Rambo last season, but he really struggled his senior season. I still wouldn't mind taking him.

Short, Floyd and Sly are all three techs. Single gap penetrating DTs... We've got those. We need a big 1 tech. I don't see the reasoning behind taking one of them.

I agree. I want a BIG BODY who can plug up the middle. Also a guy who can play NT if we want to show a 3-4 look.

    Star in the 1st
    B. Williams, J. Williams, Hankins, or Jenkins in the 2nd
Hughes or Geathers in the 3rd

It is a solid group of DTs

I personally put more value in the Senior Bowl than the combine or pro days. I don't really care what you run in a dome with no pads on and people chasing after you and don't care how much you can lift. It's nice to know but people overvalue it wayyyyyy too much and pro days...well somehow they always do better there than the actual combine.

Give me a game with a lot of players the same talent level and let's see who stands out.

same here. I'm not sure what happened but the guy was crazy good last year, maybe stats just didn't match the performance.
