playoffs are out of the question, it's not just the fact that we lost to the jags but how we lost to the jags. We played so poorly on offense we only have 1 first down in the first quarter?? That is unacceptable. There needs to be some accountability. We may win a few more games but we are not making the playoffs and we are going to lose some games that I thought we would win in the 2nd half of the year. we started 3-1 and now we are 4-5, losing 4 out of 5 and it isn't going to get better so buckle up!

I can't necessarily agree. Sure, things could wind up going like you suggest, but it's hardly a given. The team is actually good enough to win 5 of the last 7 to make the playoffs. Obviously, they will have to play better than they did yesterday though.

I know nothing is a given in this league but yesterday our offense was awful against one of the worst d's in the league. I dread going to denver, manning is going to have field day cause we always go 3 and out. I dread going to oakland because we cannot stop mobile qb's. I do see us going 1-1 with indy but we have to win thursday's game!

Yep. We are in a bad spot. You just have to beat inferior teams on your own field. So disappointing.

This team can't beat winless teams at home. F*ck them. I'm keeping my money.

It is crazy that we still control our destiny for winning the division but we would basically have to win out, maybe still could with the loss to the Broncos.

Final 7 games will say a lot for the future. No playoffs and it's most likely (and should be) new coaching staff which will also mean new QB. If we sneak into the playoffs, Munch and staff stay, but I still think we will need a day 2 QB (McCarron?) to challenge Locker since he can't stay healthy.

I hope we turn this around but it's tough to feel optimistic after yesterday. Colts on Thursday is huge.
