Like what? Leadership? Yeah, my ass. Leaders don't talk a big game then go out and constantly kill their team 15 yards at a time.

While I agree that the execs win this one, why do you always seem to have such a problem with fans stating their opinions on what they would like to see the Titans do in free agency or the draft?

My problem isn't with fans stating their opinion, it's when they present that opinion as if it's somehow of equal value as the opinions of the pros. Waaaay too often I see people say they could run an NFL team better than real GMs. That's what bothers me.

No problem at all with fans saying "I want the Titans to sign X."

Well yeah it's not realistic to say some fan could run as good as professionals where it is their job to do this.

BUT there is a good counter argument to that. Titans have never won a Superbowl, so just how good are our professionals doing, really?

I am 100 percent confident that I could field a team that could lose to the Jaguars. Because that's what we've got now.

The Cowboys have a fan as an exec :) Which is part of the reason they are $33 mill over the cap next year.

Foolish to think there's no difference between running a team that loses games in the NFL but is otherwise a competent organization and running a team like a fan. Put the average fan in charge of an NFL team and 70-point losses would become the norm.

It bugs me that many fans think so highly of themselves that they deny this.

And I love them for that. That contract will handcuff them for years.
