I like to mix up custom commercial BBQ sauce blends as well...

    My all time favorite

1cup Jack's BBQ (sweet/hot) from Jacks on Broadway of course..
1cup Blue Front BBQ (hot) from Blue Front in South Florida
    1cup brown sugar
    2Tbs Tiger Sauce available everywhere
1Tbs of minced onions - makes the sauce stick to the food better

Alcohol companies need to back off making sauces.

So I'm putting the Weber Smokey Mountain together when I notice... no thermometer in the hood. Weber is mailing one out I won't get until next week but going to smoke anyway on Saturday and will use the one from my other Weber to get by with since I'll probably start with something simple to get the hang of it.

Anyway, I'm reading that the "stock" Weber thermometer isn't the best and many use digital and others. Anyone here have one they might recommend? I'm sure Embers has a bunch but they pricey over there.

Has anyone tried the Trash Can Turkey? I haven't yet, but a friend did and said it is the best way to ever do a turkey. Much better than deep frying, and it doesn't take long.
He said it was started in Afghanistan by troops that were given turkeys on thanksgiving but didn't have a stove, so they came up with this...

At the local TGI's they have the Jack Daniels sauce, I love it. Tastes so good but the bottled versions they sell around here suck balls.

I have been hooked on Famous Dave's Devil's Spit BBQ sauce for years. Really like most of his offerings.

Also McGuire's Steak Shake to coat your steak is amazing. That is McGuire's that is in Destin/Pensacola.

Devil's Spit is a pretty nice BBQ sauce. I used to love eating there.
