    is there really that big of a Market in Vegas though?.... I thought San Antonio was the bigger swimming hole?

    Lots and lots of visitors to LV......perhaps that is the thinking. It would have to be better than the sh1thole that is oakland....oakland has a pretty big national following...perhaps not up to sqeeler or pack level but easily top 10 in that regards.

    People visit Vegas for gambling, not so much for ****** football. Unless the Raiders cheerleaders start offering a brothel in the home endzone.....

    Bring in more visitors to the casinos, don't have to be gamblers but people there for football could tie in a casino visit.
    The Raider fans in Oakland will be pissed, they have a loyal fanbase.

    "According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News, owner Mark Davis plans to make a commitment on Thursday to pursue relocation to Las Vegas if financing for the proposed $1.3 billion stadium is approved. Roughly two-thirds of the funds would come from taxes imposed on tourists."

    This is definitely going to happen... no way the casinos don't put up some money if necessary. Say hello to your Las Vegas Raiders.

    There has been rumors of an NBA team moving to Vegas for years... but has yet to happen. I just can't imagine that big of a fan base following a Vegas team, how many locals actually live there year round? I guess surrounding NV cities may follow them? They'd still get revenue for people visiting Vegas who want to hit up a game... but idk, I'd go to SA if I'm Oakland.
