Former Michigan QB Denard Robinson throws like a girl.
he severely underestimated the distance to home plate
Why do some athletes waste their time in college playing QB if they know they're not going to be a NFL QB?
Probably for the same reason Chris Johnson took a chance on East Carolina as a RB, you just never know what's going to happen.
That's awful for any young adult, much less a college QB.
I can see if you flourish and have the dynamics to make a switch, but Robinson knew he wasn't NFL QB worthy material. Same goes for Woodrow Dantzler, Joe Hamilton, Michael Robinson, and Ronald Curry (who was actually a pretty nice WR in the NFL)
Very few college athletes make it to the pros, so enjoy it while you can. What is he supposed to do go up to the coaches and demand a position move to improve his draft stock but possibly hurt the team?
Was he ever offered anything as a WR earlier in his life? Maybe it was QB or nothing.
That's exactly what he is suppose to do. If I were a QB that could possibly be a 3rd round pick as a WR, but would be an UDFA as a QB, I'm sorry to say it, but I'm making the switch in a heartbeat and not wasting my time on something I don't have a chance at.
