Heck yes. Can't complain with them trying to go out and get a big, physical receiver. I just hope this isn't our biggest move for the offseason.

in all seriousness though, i hope he goes to cincy.

what does he offer that we don't already have? gage is 6'4" and will probably remain a starter with britt playing opposite him, who also a big, strong receiver. nate washington is going to play the majority of 3-receiver sets.

at best jones is #4 and he doesn't play special teams.

I'll take an athlete like this any day:

    6'6", 237 lbs, 4.37-4.4 40 yd dash, 39.5" vertical, 10'10" broad jump.

That was during the combine, but still. I'd love to have him and think he'd be an upgrade over Gage. He's only 26 too, so we could have him and Britt as our future at WR for a while. Add in Cook, VY, and CJ and our offense looks downright nasty for the next couple of years.

The wildcat doesn't work if the guy's not a threat to run. He just becomes a crappy QB. There is no way this signing is related to the Titans wanting to run the wildcat.

I like this signing. Jones can be a good, strong possession WR and he'll certainly be very cheap.
