Marcus Mariota is the Nashville based god.
In a sense, I don't blame them. KC will not win the big one with Alex Smith at qb. It's Andy Reid's ego and him thinking he can that is holding that team hostage. KC has a good fan base. They are loyal. At some point, Reid needs to scrap the Smith experiment. Even his offense could be more dynamic with a different gut running it
Alex Smith isn't flashy...but he has won a lot of games. It's crazy how much they hate their winning team. Lol
It's really not that crazy, we're 8-6, go read some of our game threads or even post game threads. Chiefs also have a top 3 most passionate fan base, since they have the taste of winning they want more of it and probably think they lost this game more than we won it.
I know how it goes, I trash the Titans at times too.(mostly jokingly) But the Chiefs have won 20 out of their last 24 games or something. Thats like 5 seasons worth of wins for the Titans.
But yes, any time the Titans win it's always how bad the other team played and not how the Titans won it seems. Maybe next year the Titans can keep the momentum and actually get some recognition for wins.
If we had let a team have two drives so uncontested we would have 5 threads about who to cut and who to fire.
Probably justifiable. Just because a good player (Mariota) earns the game winning drive, doesn't mean that the Defense made mistakes and could be held accountable. Case by case, play by play basis. Doesn't mean that the opposing offense doesn't deserve some credit either.
Really it is the defense that wins the game indeed!
Aw... was hoping for "GOOOOOOOOOOAL!"
