    Id like to see the offense put a string of short passing plays together designed to allow for some rhythm for Mariota.

    I can't imagine it's easy for him to continue getting 1 3rd and long pass attempt per drive for the first 2-3 quarters week after week. (of course exaggeration)

    As a bonus, some short throws can also help open the running game.

    We ran that one screen by throwing the ball to our slowest WR behind the LOS in the WR testes formation. I guess that counts.
