    Despite the athletic similarities, Verner shouldn't have said that. He knows Young failed here, let's not starting comparing Locker to him. Locker won't fail because he WORKS HARD

    People seriously getting upset at Verner for saying this? He's right, they play the same style, it just looks like Locker has his head on straighter.

    Nothing wrong in this comparison at all. I know we all want Jake to be the next Joe Montana or Peyton Manning, but his game is nothing like their game. He is a different QB than they were/are. He does compare to Vince in many ways. Now attitude wise, not so much.

    I saw "Titans corner says Jake Locker..." and was hoping the rest would say "is looking like the real deal" or something like that.

    There is something wrong with what Verner said... it's stupid. Their playing styles may be similar, but you don't compare our up and coming QB to the one who was just a total disaster and bust for our team. You just don't.

    Verner is supposedly a really smart guy, so this is surprising to me. Should've known better. Just my opinion.
