The Tennessee added running back Jackie Battle and tight end DeMarco Cosby to the roster on Wednesday while waiving running back Alvester Alexander and quarterback Nathan Enderle.

Battle (6-2, 240) has played in six NFL seasons (64 career games) with the Chiefs and Chargers. He’s totaled 1,026 yards and seven touchdowns on 285 carries. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cowboys in 2007.

Cosby (6-3, 245) spent the past two seasons on practice squads for the Rams, Packers and Chiefs.

Battle will be a great #3, and a contributor on special teams. If Mariani has a good year kick/punt returning, it will probably be the end of Reynaud for us.

    .....while waiving quarterback Nathan Enderle.

I'm guessing Rusty will be the #3 again this season.

Battle makes sense but I am sorry Reynaud is by far the better punt returner. I just wonder what kendall wright could/would do returning punts?
