Wanting Garoppolo last year in our situation is different from saying he's going to be the greatest QB in the history of the NFL.

I would've been absolutely fine with us taking him in the mid rounds... but HoF and greatest QB in the history of football never came to my mind.

Somehow that's in JCB's head. Don't know why.

I said I think he could be decent... You were the one talking him up so much, so I had to talk some sense into you.

Well we won't have a damn clue how he fares in the NFL for a couple more years (or if Brady gets hurt).

And if he was seen as a sure thing, he would've gone much earlier in the draft.

I believe I had Jimmy ranked #2 behind Teddy also, but it was a very weak QB class.
