The Colts' offensive coordinator, Tom Moore, has retired.

I can't find a link on the story, but I just saw the news go by on ESPN's bottomline.

This is a LOT of coaching staff turnover in one season. It's got to have some effect. Manning's first season without Moore... This is going to be a tough season for Indy. They may be good enough to avoid dropping into the bottom half of the division, but it's a big challenge for them.

The Colts moved from Baltimore in 1984, and began their stay in Indianapolis winning 90 of 228 games through the 1997 season. Then came Manning. Without Peyton Manning this team is worthless. No coach was able to make them half decent as a team during those 13 years. That franchise even ended up losing John Elway of all people. Without the 'Manning take over' this franchise doesn't win 8 games ever, and probably would have ended up becoming the Texans after the Oilers left. Either way we would still be beating them today. Interestingly enough, when the Oilers became the Titans I truly thought we would own the AFC south forever from 2002 til today. Who thought in '02 that we would own that division? I remember thinking when the division alignments were put out and I saw the Texans, Jaguars and Colts in there with us, I was like this will be easy. Then comes Peyton Manning and that offense. As long as that team has that QB, they don't need coaches. Losing Dungy and company wont matter if Manning is under center. Peyton will end up with a street named after him as Favre did with Green Bay.

Poor bloody Walrus' being labelled as Moore lookalikes.

:baghead: Expect Walrus colonies to start wearing paper bags as soon as word gets out.
