If true that is in pretty poor taste to reach out to candidates for a position that isn't even open yet. Not a very respectful way to treat any coach let alone one that has worked for the organization for 30 years. I want him gone but not like that.

let's get real. He has probably come to grips that he is gone. They may have even informed him.. today maybe they just make it official.
In NO way has he been treated unfairly.

If he wanted to maintain good graces with the organization, he never should have accepted the job. He knew there was a less than 50 percent chance that his tenure ends well.

Could just be as a precaution. I think it really comes down to what is said in the meeting today. How much Munch is willing to change in his position coaches and philosophy to help this team win games. He is going to have to change to save his job, it all depends what he says. If he doesn't want to then we already started the process, if he does change then it doesn't matter we started to look.

You don't know that. This organization has a history not treating its former players/coaches very well. This is a new owner and we have no idea what kind of guy he is. And lets also get real about the fact that this decision could have been made days ago and then Tommie could be reaching out to whoever he wants to without it making this franchise look like a bunch of jerks.

This is my line of thinking as well. The final decision is all going to depend on what is said/agreed upon in today's meeting. Otherwise they wouldn't be wasting his and their time at this point.

I do really wish this meeting would've been held earlier in the week though.
