Top 10 TITANS players of all time

Vince was an mvp candidate. ESPN mentions his as such as late as December 26, for resurrecting the Titans. And you be hard pressed to find anyone who wasn't talking about him at that time. It was legitimate talk.

You can compare Vince to Vick if you want, but I wouldn't, and never will. This is about the best Titan. Who I have appropriately named.

As far as college recognition, I only think that underscores what he is, was, and always will be. The greatest talent and football player we have ever had. When Earl Campbell played one good season here, we all said the same thing. God damn. That kid is the best there ever was.

 

Until this happens... Steve is the man.

 

So how many MVP votes did he get compared to... say... me?

My point is that if you were a Falcon fan, you would have said Vick was the best Falcon ever after 2002. And you'd have been wrong. Just like you may well be wrong about Young. And certainly his career numbers don't rank him in the top 10 all time...

Yes, he was a great college QB. But he still has to prove it in the NFL.

He had 3 great consecutive games. Otherwise he has been a very average starter...
