    Haha - good choice but no..
    I don't think Dexter (the show) ever leaves Coral Gables - which of course makes Miami look like the nicest place ever on TV - when in reality the Miami I know is more like Beirut, Lebanon after a long night of bombings..

    Miramar is near Miami/Lauderdale. Depp lived in Gainesville - which is about 4 hours north. So no, this is not the house where the actor grew up.

    Miami is a hellhole, and I hope to never return there again. I got offered every drug imaginable on the streets in broad daylight. It is scummy, through and through. And this is coming from a person who enjoys visiting Tijuana. At least you know what to expect from Mexico.
