LT/RT is SO overrated in today's game...

If Lewan is at LT and Houston sees Jeremiah freaking Poutasi at RT, where does Watt line up? Oh yeah, we saw how that worked out...

In today's game, defenses move their guys around to get favorable match ups... You need book end tackles at both LT & RT..

I don't really care who's the LT or RT.. I just want them both to be SOLID and I'm tired of our BS band-aid approach... Oher, Bell, Poutasi.. Cheap/dumb FA signings and late round picks. WE NEED TO FIX THIS LINE

Im not at all saying tge line doesn't need to be fixed. It does, without question. But what I'm saying is throwing picks at a position group year after year isn't the answer. A better coach would have our line looking much better. What we lack is strong leadership in that group and you get that from coaches and vets, not rookies. However, if we are forced into staying at #1 then we need to get the best player in the draft period. If that guy is tunsil, we need to pick him. Idk if i am sold on him being the best though.

I watched the first quarter of the Ole Miss/OK St game. Ole Miss gave up two sacks in their first four plays despite having Laremy Tunsil, the best LT in college football, on their offensive line because their interior was bad.

So how does Tunsil help our other four O-line spots from being awful again?

Not sure, but he dominated a very good OK St DE . . . and he is a stud. Not sure it is his job to fix the rest. It is the GM's job to get better players at those spots too.

But getting a stud tackle to anchor the line is very important. I am still for it.

Put them together and ask yourself who is the better overall football player? Meaning most overall play differences in the game. I go with Ramsey

Cause we have bookend Ts for the next decade?

FSU got torched in xxx game through the air how does Ramsey fix our secondary if they're all bad?

Theres a reason that the first pick in the draft is always QB/LT/Edge...

I have never made that argument because it would be asinine. The same way that arguing bringing in Tunsil helps fix the other OL spots, which has absolutely been argued.

And Ramsey will make more plays than Tunsil, but this thread isn't about that.
