Yeah, we just consistently pick the "wrong" guys to pay!
Do we? We wisely allowed Albert Haynesworth to walk. Imagine the backlash that would have been had we signed that lazy bum to a $100M contract...
But really, who do we overpay? At the time CJ2K was the best player in football, how was management to know he'd throw in the towel 2 years later?
Amano, Wimbley, Hutchinson, Greene, Levitre to name a few. We have let some guys walk that needed to, but we have really chit the bed on some FA contracts.
Best player in football? Dude where do you come up with this stuff? He was arguably the best RB in the league at the time, but I had about five other RBs ahead of him after he had an average season in 2010, and I knew he'd be done in a couple years.
Hutchinson was bad.. Amano absolutely a terrible signing. Wimbley I still like (he restructured remember). Greene was fair. And Levitre will prove to be good too.
We mostly never screw up finding ways to save money, look what we're doing now for the future. .. This is a good FO finally.
Yet to be seen, but we are getting slammed for giving Oher so much. I know it has been written on here before, but what's up with hate on Rotoworld? It is my favorite site for fantasy updates, but it is hard to ignore the hate for everything Titan on there. Ruston is their whipping boy.
Ruston has yet to prove himself and is under a microscope until he does so.
True, true. But they even hate Sankey already and I haven't seen the dude play yet.
I don't follow rotoworld, but I think Sankey is going to be good! I loved CJ, but I am SO happy to have a more traditional RB. So sick of the "CJ just needs his touches and magic will eventually happen" approach.
Mark my words. Levitre will play in the Pro Bowl as a Titan.
