Someone emailed me this video he made of all of CJ's carries Sunday. I thought it would be interesting to contrast the first vs. second half.

About damn time CJ looked genuinely good. He hit his holes quick, made nice quick cuts, made people miss in the open field, fought for extra yards after contact, and actually looked dangerous after catching the ball.

He still looks 4.5 speed at best. Weird how he's lost so much speed. Linebackers werent even sprinting and running right by his side in the open field.

The run at 2:59 was the most painful. Outside wide open and he forces himself inside to a pile of people instead of cutting out and taking the easy 6 pts that were waiting.

Im guessing you didn't see that little yellow flag fly in.....It was holding on us, those easy 6 points wouldn't have counted. Hall was injured and the Olineman go blewup on the play, forcing Harper into CJ. The CB was waiting on the outside. He may have gotten 7 or 8 yards but not the TD.

Give the guy some credit Deuce, he had a good game.

He probably is at 4.5 speed on game days. NO ONE runs their 40 times during games, NO ONE! Not even your boy DeSean Jackson.

In that case- make it 4.7 then.

But people do run 4.3-4.4 on game day. Hell, many are faster on field. Hester is faster on field. Desean is too.

I run a 4.57 in street clothes. There are LBs in pads that run way faster than me. So they definitely can play at those speeds.

Yeah, I knew it was holding. I was just talking about what he did on the play though.

Old CJ would have taken that to the house. And he had an ok game. Still not great. But at least it was a lot better than what we've been seeing.

lol. So you run a 4.57 and you can punt the ball some 100 yards. Sounds like you've got quite the future ahead of yourself.

He probably could do most of what he claims. Guys smoking L's downtown run 4.5's from the cops all days, not like 4.5 speed is out of this realm. As for punting 100 yards, IDK about that one, maybe on a windy day.

I know I've made some statements on here, nobody wants to believe I squatted 1000 lbs in high school, but it's the Gods honest truth.

And I've got a fat out of shape buddy who CAN kick 70-yard field goals. But since the guy is so undisciplined, he'd never make the NFL.
