When you rush the passer, that's called blitzing. They blitzed 4 every time. You know what I meant.

No. Sending just your 4 down linemen is not blitzing.

Don't blame Wright for the rest of the team sucking. Wright is one of the few bright spots IMO. Getting a WR who can play is a plus. We could have easily drafted a dud.

Wright would be more effective if we had a healthy Britt out there and a Qb who could throw more than 10 yards down field. Noodle arm Ponder looked like John Elway compared to Hass.

He has sucked this year so far! But mainly cause he cant stay on the field due to injuries!

"a blitz is when players on or behind the line of scrimmage during a play, are sent across the scrimmage line to the offensive side to try to tackle the quarterback or disrupt his pass attempt"

You don't have to send more than 4 for it to be considered a blitz... atleast IMO.

It's called rushing the passer.

That's why you hear commentators say a team should blitz more/less. By your definition there is a blitz on every play which is simply untrue.
